A few days ago I shared an experience I had on facebook and the response to this story was AMAZING! So I thought why not share it with all you lovely readers. Here is the story-
MY FAITH IN HUMANITY HAS BEEN RESTORED-
On Sunday I made my way to East Croydon and when I got there I realised my License was missing, I checked all my pockets in a panic. It was gone. I worked out it must have slipped out as I got my oyster card out at Victoria station, as I rushed to get on to the train that takes me to East Croydon. At this point, I assumed it was stolen and filed a Lost property report anyway. A Lost Property report takes them 2 weeks to get back to you if your possessions had been found. All I knew was that I had to apply for a new one.
On Monday morning an envelope comes through my door saying, ‘Found At Victoria Station’. No stamp and no name on the envelope. I am assuming it was hand delivered. Inside was my License!
To this individual- THANK YOU
Not just for my license but for making me aware there is A LOT of good in the world, it made my day
I hope you enjoyed this heartwarming story. I wish I knew who this amazing individual was so I can thank them personally for this selfless act. Thank you for reading my post, there is lots to come on Krupa Around Town
